Genre

The game is going to be a VR Experience in an Art Game format that deal with serious issues. To point it out clearly, the genre of the game is:

Concept

The game is set in a world where Earth has been destroyed and humanity has shifted to interstellar living standards. Here, there lies a virtual museum that helps people understand the mistakes that were made by humans leading to the destruction of Earth. You play as a character that has ventured into this VR Museum and is trying to re-learn Earth.

As the game is going to deal with serious issues in a metaphorical format by using human emotional traits to paint, the canvas of how Earth is in danger due to our issues. It’s not necessarily a very pleasant experience in terms of the content, but it will be a pleasant experience in the form of Art and music.

Gameplay

The gameplay will include simple interactions like grab, throw, hold, push and pull along with fluid movement in the game. Idealistically, the game can be played either seated or standing as per the player's comfort.

Narrative Layering

The game is heavily driven by narrative in the form of multiple layers. The game does not have a lot in terms of gameplay; hence narrative is the key factor that will add immersion to the game, it’s the element that needs to stand out in order to make this a good VR experience. The narrative of the game has been divided into multiple layers:

Types of Narrative

The game will follow a unique mix of multiple narrative flows through a singular medium. One of the advantages dealt out to us under the use of VR, is the fact that we can follow a Descriptive Narrative as well as a Viewpoint Narrative at the same time. Given our premise and the flow of the story, we will have a unique blend of multiple narrative structures running simultaneously bringing our story together.
